The Challenge
HoppyGo noticed that their clients needed to rent vehicles immediately after registering with their service. However, before using Sumsub, HoppyGo approved every single client manually, which could take up to one full day. This led to customer drop-offs.

We saw a strong correlation between user registration time and ride completion. We wanted to improve these metrics, so we started to look for an automated solution.

The Solution
To rent a vehicle, HoppyGo users pass the following checks performed by Sumsub:
- ID Verification (driver’s license check)
- Liveness (instantly matches the user’s faces with their IDs)
- Address Verification
The Results
Before implementing Sumsub, it could take HoppyGo up to one day to verify a new user. Sumsub now verifies users in less than a minute.
HoppyGo saw improvement in the number of newly registered customers completing trips after registration, growing from 40-43% to 66%.
