Returning for its third year, Sumsub’s LATAM Roadshow, held in partnership with Orangepill, brings together fintech and crypto leaders across the region
Sumsub invites fintech, crypto, compliance and risk-management leaders to the next edition of its LATAM Roadshow, a series of exclusive in-person events across Latin America designed to address fraud, compliance and digital growth in fast-moving markets. Each stop — Brazil (São Paulo), Colombia (Bogotá) and Mexico (Mexico City) — will bring together regional and global experts to discuss how to verify users, prevent increasingly sophisticated scams and scale securely in the age of AI-powered digital economy.
Three roadshow events are proudly organized in partnership with Orangepill, a leading platform for wallet and payments solutions in conversational channels. Other partners include infobip (Brazil), Lemon (Colombia) and Sferea (Mexico).
“The LATAM market is growing fast, and with this growth comes new challenges in compliance and fraud prevention,” says Mariana Heinau, Head of Partnerships, LATAM at Sumsub. “Through this roadshow, we aim to connect with innovators, share expertise, and empower companies to build secure, scalable businesses that can thrive across the region and globally. We’re excited to collaborate with Orangepill and other partners to bring meaningful discussions to Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico.”
As AI-driven fraud grows across Latin America — costing companies an estimated 3–5% of annual revenues — the need for robust identity verification and compliance has never been greater. These gatherings will explore actionable strategies to protect businesses, onboard users securely and scale with confidence in both local and global markets.

“Cybercriminals adjust their methods with each attempt, so it’s crucial to have systems capable of analyzing the behavior of millions of users, detecting anomalies in real time, and responding in seconds without impacting the customer experience. At the roadshow, we’ll be discussing how organizations can strengthen their fraud defenses by adapting them to their risk profile, device type, and user behavior, making real-time adjustments that prevent threats without affecting the customer experience. Having technologies that provide immediate visibility into who accesses the system, how they interact, and what patterns are recurring is essential to anticipating attacks. In this context, security ceases to be a barrier and transforms into a strategic tool that allows companies to operate with confidence in an environment as dynamic as Latin America’s,” concludes Heinau.
