Alex Wood

Alex Wood is one of the most highly sought-after speakers in global finance.

Aged 24 his career was abruptly halted by the onset of Repetitive Strain Injury in his right hand and faced with mounting debts and no source of income, his criminal career began. His life spiralled out of control, culminating in several years spent in prison for a number of dishonesty offences - everything from impersonating the 13th Duke of Marlborough to committing multi-million pound cyber-crime.

Since his release from prison in early 2022 Alex has turned his life around and become a globally celebrated motivational speaker. Following his Keynote speaking debut at the QEII Centre in Westminster in February 2023, he has delivered over a hundred speeches across the UK and throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Alex is a resident member of the BBC ‘Scam Secrets’ team, a featured guest on BBC ‘File on 4’, the ‘Adrian Chiles’ show and ‘Saturday Live’ and a regular expert on mainstream television (including ITV’s ‘Good Morning Britain’, ‘This Morning’, ‘ITV News’ and TalkTV).
