In 2015, Jacob co-founded Sumsub with his brothers Andrew and Peter and their friend Vyacheslav Zholudev. He is a key driver of growth at Sumsub, which now works with 2,000+ clients in 220+ countries and territories, with a client portfolio ranging from fintech to e-commerce and car-sharing services. As Chief of Innovation at Sumsub, Jacob is responsible for delivering top-notch products and driving innovation ahead of the market. Jacob brings a wealth of data-driven market insights to the table, helping businesses handle compliance, anti-fraud, and verification challenges with innovative solutions and expert support. As Chief of Product and Compliance at Sumsub from 2015 to 2022, Jacob cemented Sumsub’s industry expertise in compliance and tech development, transforming the company into the first-ever Compliance-as-a-Service provider in 2022. Jacob’s areas of expertise include blockchain, Web3, crypto, ID verification, product development, anti-fraud and regulatory compliance. Before co-founding Sumsub, Jacob worked as a C-suite manager at top IT companies. These roles built up his expertise in product design and innovation, which he now puts to use daily as Chief Innovation Officer at Sumsub. Jacob currently lives in Limassol, Cyprus.
